Provincial Minister for Special Education Choudary Muhammad Akhlaq has said that government was taking all possible steps for the promotion of games in across the country and ensuring facilities of international standard to the players and athletes. The Minister said that organizing of training camps of under 16 is part of the government programme adding that basic concept of organizing these training camps was to groom the young players and to focus on their fitness.

He was addressing the players on concluding ceremony of volleyball training camp of under 16 arranged by Punjab Sports Board here last evening. The Minister on this occasion lauded the efforts of Punjab Sports Board for organizing training camps in different parts of the Punjab. The organizing training camps would be supportive in producing best and trained players of different games he said.

The Minister was of the opinion that our players will represent the country in different international games and keep the national flag higher internati0onal level.

Earlier, Director General Punjab Sports Board Nadeem Sarwar highlighted different achievements and future programmes of Punjab Sports Board. Nadeem Sarwar that adequate efforts were being made for improving facilities of football, volleyball, athletics and cricket in Sialkot and this programme will be accomplished during current year.
